Range Rover Engine Warranty Guarantee. In the unlikely event that your engine should become defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. Firstly we offer an unlimited mileage warranty within the first 6 months or 10000 miles from the date of purchase. Additionally we guarantee to replace either the unit or any defective parts we have fitted, free of charge at our discretion.

Engine Guarantee Summary and Use Of Car After Engine Works:

In addition to your statutory rights (which are not affected by the guarantee) we guarantee that should the engine supplied and fitted by Jaguar and Land Rover Specialist fail solely due to defective materials or faulty workmanship in manufacturing during a period of 6 months from the initial fitting to your vehicle, we will at our option either repair or replace such defects free of charge. This guarantee also applies to engines repaired by Jaguar and Land Rover Specialist.

We will not be liable for any damages to your vehicle’s electrical system, gearbox, or accessories.

Keep speeds down to 50 m.p.h. I 2,500 r.p.m. for the first 500/600 miles.

If you have done any work to the engine in question in the past, we need to know about it. If the work causes any damage or is suspected of causing an internal structural issue, you will have to pay a surcharge.

If your cylinder head, crankshaft or cylinder block are unusable because of damage, you may have to pay a surcharge. You will be notified if there will be any extra charges will apply to your vehicle.

If your vehicle requires ancillary components to run, these parts may have failed, causing the engine to fail or the failure of the engine due to the ancillary components. These parts can be supplied by the customer, or alternatively we can also provide you with a quote for these parts.If the customer supplies parts, they must ensure that the parts fit the vehicle and are in working order as we cannot take any responsibility for incorrect and non-working parts.

Any payment outstanding on the original Invoice or Service invoice NOT PAID IN FULL within the agreed time will automatically make this guarantee VOID.

Please change oil and oil filter after 500 miles.

Please do regular oil and filter change after every 5000 miles.

Engine Warranty Our Guarantee The following terms apply:

The engine or vehicle must be returned to us with the original invoices in any instance. If any internal components of the engine have been removed, replaced or rectified in any way by any person, other than our company, any warranty will subsequently become void.
The engine or vehicle must not have been subject to misuse i.e. overheating, neglect, modifications, repairs.
We shall not be liable under this guarantee for any fault in the engine arising from the installation or use of any defective service part.
Engines fitted with timing belts require the timing belts to be replaced every 20,000 miles which are checked at every service.
In the event of any work required under the warranty, the engine must not exceed the mileage or time set for service intervals. The mileage and times will be physically checked before any work is conducted. If any mileage or time allocations mentioned in the servicing section are exceeded, the warranty will be refused.
The Range Rover engine warranty guarantee does not cover recovery, delivery or any form of third party costs incurred at any point in time, this is solely the customers responsibility.
If the vehicle is sold the warranty is non-transferable and will become void.
If the vehicle seems to be overheating or you hear any unfamiliar sounds from the engine bay you must stop driving the car immediately. Once the vehicle has been inspected it is at our discretion to determine whether the vehicle has been misused.
If any fault occurs due to non fitment of advisory items recommended on the engine breakdown report, the warranty will not cover any engine or ancillary component failure as a result.
